Strength Based Coaching

It is a 8 hour training course.

  • 8am - 5pm

Very lively and hands on session. Trainers focus on teaching concepts as well applying them immidiately to real world problems.

Day 1

  • Welcome and Introductions

    Welcome participants, introduce ground rules and expectations. Ice breakers and introductions, past experience with coaching.

    Change your questions

    As a coach, we need to constantly be asking ourselves good questions. And we need to ask good questions of the colleagues we are coaching. But also extremely important, we need to teach those we are coaching to ask themselves good questions. In so doing, we are teaching them how to coach themselves when we are not there.

    How the effective coach can help a colleague be more aware of his natural talents and abilities, and then help guide the colleague to use them more effectively so that they become strengths.

    Below that line lies excuse making, blaming others, confusion and an attitude of helplessness, while above that line we find a sense of reality, ownership, commitment, solutions to problems and determined action.

    Every human being can fall Below the Line from time to time. So the challenge for a coach is to help a colleague move back above the line.

For a nominal charge, Trainers can share contact details so that participants can ask questions after the training as they apply the concepts.
