The Certified Six Sigma Black Belt is a professional who can explain Six Sigma philosophies and principles, including supporting systems and tools. Stage One Attend the Black belt training

This session covers important tools and techniques for process improvement, including the DMAIC problem solving methodology. By building a common language and a basic understanding of key tools and techniques, the attendee is better prepared to support their organization via Lean Six Sigma improvements.

This course is for advanced practitioner who are leaders in their companies and are positioned to delivered divisional or companywide growth and cost goals. Green belt certification is a pre-requisite for this course.

Stage Two Complete a Black belt Project

All training participants are encouraged to identify a real life project before coming to the training. The training is very hands-on and we apply all the tools being taught in the class to participant's own project. Typically the participant finishes 50% of the project during the hands on training exercises in the class.

Stage Three Present your Project to our master trainers

Present your detailed project charter, measurements, analysis and improvement to your trainer in the defined PowerPoint template. Once approved you will awarded with the Black belt certification.

Can I get certified without completing a project ?

Without completing the project, you will get a training completion diploma only. To get industry recognized Black belt certification, a real life problem needs to be resolved using DMAIC concept and presented to the trainer.

How much time does it take to complete a Black belt scope project ?

It typically takes 8 to 12 months work to complete a Black belt project. We advise our students to break out the black belt projects in to smaller Yellow Belt and Green belt projects and involve YB and GB candidates in their organization to help deliver the projects and mentor them in achieving the YB/GB certification.
